Real Madrid attacker Eden Hazard has fancied his former club Chelsea to register a surprise victory when they tackle Manchester City on the road this weekend.
The Blues have fared impressively during the first 12 games of the Premier League campaign and they are presently in the third spot with a one-point advantage over the Cityzens.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Hazard acknowledged that the Blues face a difficult challenge at the home of the Premier League champions but they could register with a victory with the way they have been performing of late.
"Of course they can beat Man City. It’s not going to be easy, it’s hard to play there and last time we played there we lost 6-0. So it’s bad memories for me and for Chelsea as well but I think this season they are really good. They are really young but really good, so why not go there and win the game?," he told.
Blues boss Frank Lampard has placed the confidence on some of the young graduates at the club and most of them have meet his expectations with standout displays in different games.
The Blues are currently holding a comfortable nine-point gap over Sheffield United, who are just outside of the top four and they will be hoping to extend the advantage at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
