Manchester United will be aiming to continue with their recent run of good form when they face Sheffield United in the Premier League on Saturday.

  • The Red Devils are presently nine points behind fourth-placed Manchester City in the standings and they need to build up a winning run in order to keep up with the challengers in the Champions League pursuit.

    Predicted Lineup:

    Spain international David de Gea will definitely start in goal for the Red Devils, having done the same in each of the club's previous 50 Premier League matches.

    In the defence, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should revert to the common combination since the beginning of September. Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Ashley Young will definitely slot into the full-back roles with Victor Lindelof partnering Harry Maguire in the central defensive department.

    In the midfield, Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba are definitely out with injuries while Nemanja Matic will be lacking match fitness after being sidelined for more than six weeks. In this situation, James Garner may be handed with his first-ever Premier League start alongside Fred, who has recently been a mainstay in the centre of the park.

    In the attack front, no changes are expected from recent league meetings. Daniel James and Marcus Rashford should slot into the right and left wing roles respectively. Anthony Martial will play as the lone striker with Andreas Pereira getting the pick for the number 10 position.
