Chelsea yet to finalise contract extension with Tammy Abraham

17 December 2019 - 20:33

Chelsea have reportedly made little progress in their attempt to commit Tammy Abraham to a new long-term contract at the club.

  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs
  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • The Blues have already extended the deals of Fikayo Tomori, Mason Mount and Callum Hudson-Odoi this term and they are said to be keen on rewarding Abraham with a new and improved contract.

However, there has not been any progress with regards to the same and according to The Telegraph, talks are likely to continue over the next few weeks.

Abraham's current deal is due to expire in the summer of 2022 and there is no suggestion at the moment that he could push for an exit from the west London giants.

Abraham has been in superb form for Frank Lampard's side this term and he has amassed 13 goals from 23 games in all competitions.

The England international has been the undisputed choice to lead the line for the Blues since the start of the campaign.
