Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has reportedly agreed personal terms with Inter Milan ahead of a Bosman move to the Serie A during the summer.
The Frenchman has experienced a difficult season with Frank Lampard's side and he has been restricted to only five starts in the Premier League.
The majority of those came after Tammy Abraham's injury troubles following the winter break and Giroud was able to impress with a couple of goals against Tottenham and Everton.
Still, Giroud appears keen on a fresh challenge away from the west London giants, given he is expected to drop down the pecking order when the club sign a new striker during the summer.
According to Tuttosport, Giroud has already agreed to a two-year contract with the Nerazzurri with the option for another 12 months, should he impress during his stay.
Giroud has of course been offered the chance to sign a one-year extension at Stamford Bridge but he is keen on making the switch to the Nerazzurri, where he has a better contract offer on the table.
Giroud's current deal at Chelsea expires at the end of June but the club are expected to extend his stay for at least another month to finish the ongoing season which has been delayed by the coronavirus pandemic.
