Bayer Leverkusen forward Kai Havertz is reportedly open to the prospect of joining Manchester United in the next transfer window.
The 20-year-old has bagged 15 goals and eight assists from 38 appearances this season but the majority of those contributions have come in the second half of the season.
Since the winter break, the German has been in a purple patch with 12 goals and seven assists from just 17 outings and he is currently one of the hottest properties in European football.
United are focused on landing the signature of Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho this summer but Manchester Evening News claims that they have a realistic chance of signing Havertz.
The versatile forward is interested in a move to Old Trafford this summer but won't come on the cheap with Leverkusen said to demand at least £80m from interested clubs for his services.
Havertz recently became the first player in German top-flight history to score 35 league goals before the age of 21. He has played everywhere in the attack this term including the centre-forward position.
