Sunderland chasing a Fortune

Sunderland chasing a Fortune

10 April 2008 - 21:41

Black Cats boss Roy Keane is reportedly considering a move for Nancy striker Marc-Antoine Fortune this summer. The Sunderland coach has been monitoring the player for some time and is readying a summer move.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • Fortune has been in superb form for Nancy this year, who have impressed in Ligue 1. Fortune has undoubtedly been the best player for them, and Sunderland are set to offer £3 million to land the finisher.

Fortune has contributed 5 goals in 13 games this season, but what has really caught the eye has been his superb strength and vision playing for a minnow up against the best sides of the French leagues.
