Chelsea make transfer decision on Paulo Dybala

05 November 2020 - 21:33

Chelsea are no longer interested in signing Paulo Dybala from Juventus, a report from Calciomercato claims.

  • Chelsea ready new contract for star midfielder
  • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso

  • The Blues spent more than £220m this summer and they significantly bolstered their attack with the arrivals of Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz.

Still, they have been linked with many high-profile forwards and Dybala has been one of them mentioned by multiple sources.

The west London giants have been fancied to sign Dybala in the past, but reports claim that owner Roman Abramovich is no longer interested.

The summer transfer business has meant that the Blues are loaded with attacking options and Dybala is not regarded as a target anymore.

Dybala's current deal with Juventus expires in the summer of 2022 and so far, there has been no progress over a contract extension.

Juventus have been in regular contact with Dybala and his agent and there is the optimism that they will eventually convince him to extend his deal.
