  • The teenager star has been in top form since his break out onto the football scene putting in impressive performances which has earned him from pundits and football fans across the globe as well as call-ups into the Spanish senior national side.

Having made five appearances with an impressive 4 goals this season, Ansu Fati has been in scintillating form and seem to cement a place in the starting 11 for the Catalan side. His impressive form from last season has continued into this current season with Spanish manager Luis Henrique, naming him in the national team squad for Spain's internationals last month.

The young prodigy in October, was named in the top three most valuable teenagers with Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies taking the 1st spot and Ansu valued at €122.7m, according to an algorithm modelled by CEIS Football Observatory.

After being subbed in the 1st half, reports from the Camp Nou suggest that Fati has suffered a tear in the meniscus in his left knee and there's a possibility he would be sidelined for a long period after undergoing scan.

Barcelona immediately confirmed that the intensity of Ansu Fati's injury will be known after he has undergone a scan at the club base medical facility.

Ronald Koeman will be hoping his young star's injury wouldn't be that serious since he sees the Spanish international as an important player in his team.
