Inter Milan are set to make a renewed attempt to sign Olivier Giroud from Chelsea at the turn of the year.
The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move to San Siro in recent transfer windows, but a deal has failed to materialise.
Giroud was keen on joining the Nerazzurri in January this year, but the Blues blocked the move after they failed to land a replacement.
The 34-year-old received regular gametime during the backend of last season and that convinced him to stay put this summer.
According to Calciomercato, Inter are prepared to make a fresh move for Giroud when the transfer window reopens in January.
The former Arsenal striker has struggled for playing time this season with summer signing Timo Werner and Tammy Abraham favoured ahead of him.
Giroud is currently assessing his Blues future and could be tempted by the proposal, if his playing time fails to improve in the coming months.
Antonio Conte is keen on signing a new targetman, who can compete with Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez upfront.
