Serie A giants Roma are interested in signing Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette, a report from The Mirror claims.
The Giallorossi were keen on landing midfielder Granit Xhaka from the Gunners last month, and they were in advanced talks.
However, a deal failed to materialise between the clubs. There was a significant difference between Roma's offer and the Gunner's valuation.
Xhaka is now expected to sign a new long-term contract. Roma are still interested in doing business with Arsenal for Lacazette.
Lacazette has entered the final year of his Gunners deal, and the hierarchy have decided that they won't hand him a contract extension.
He could be available for around £20m. It remains to be seen whether the Serie A outfit will meet the price tag for the marksman.
Roma are braced to lose the services of Edin Dzeko. The Bosnian star is set to make the move to Inter Milan to replace Romelu Lukaku.
Lacazette has been earmarked by Jose Mourinho as the potential replacement.
