Manchester City have received a triple injury boost ahead of the Premier League encounter against Chelsea tomorrow.
Earlier this week, Pep Guardiola confirmed that John Stones, Aymeric Laporte, Rodrigo, Ilkay Gundogan and Oleksandr Zinchenko were injured.
Stones, Laporte and Rodrigo have since reported for first-team training, and they could all make the matchday squad against the Blues.
It is still uncertain whether any of them will be deemed fit enough to make the starting line-up. The Cityzens have adequate replacements.
Fernandinho would most certainly start if Rodri stays on the bench.
Ruben Dias has played alongside Nathan Ake in central defence in recent games. The partnership could continue against the Blues.
Chelsea have had the upper hand over the Cityzens in the past three meetings, and Guardiola will be determined to avoid another defeat.
It won't be easy with the Blues in fine run of form. They are unbeaten across all competitions with their only blemish being the draw at Liverpool.
