Chelsea have confirmed that Timo Werner, Romelu Lukaku, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ben Chilwell have tested positive for coronavirus.

  • Chelsea ready new contract for star midfielder
  • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso

  • Earlier today, it was revealed that the Blues were disrupted with positive cases. The above-mentioned quartet are now isolating.

Meanwhile, Kai Havertz has been ruled out with an illness. The German is currently awaiting the result of his coronavirus test.

Despite the setbacks, the Blues are playing Everton tonight. They should be overwhelming favourites to beat the Toffees at home.

The Merseyside outfit are currently in a dismal run of form with five points from 10 games, and are now dealing with multiple injuries.

They are missing Demarai Gray, Richarlison and Andros Townsend from last weekend, and that\'s a massive blow for the Toffees.

The Blues can move within two points of leaders Manchester City with a win. It appears unlikely that the Toffees can contain them.

The club have a dreadful record at Stamford Bridge. They have not won a league game at the stadium in more than 27 years.
