Arsenal have opened contract negotiations with Bukayo Saka, according to football.london.
The Gunners had a disappointing winter transfer window where they failed to make any major signing.
It is now reported that the club will focus on renewing the contract of Saka amid his impressive form.
Saka has been the club's best performer over the past 18 months, and the board are keen to reward him.
He is currently on wages of just £32,000-a-week, and reports claim that a new deal could triple his salary.
Negotiations are underway with the graduate, and there is growing optimism that he will pen a new contract.
Aside from Saka, the club are also planning talks with Arteta as they consider him as a long-term manager.
His current expires deal in the summer of 2023, but the hierarchy are planning to renew his stay until 2026.
The Gunners are wary that Manchester City could look to pursue him if Pep Guardiola steps down after next season.
