Serie A giants Inter Milan and AC Milan could go head-to-head to sign Manchester United attacker Jesse Lingard this summer.
The England international has under three months left on his Red Devils deal, and he will leave them on a free transfer in July.
He is already free to speak with foreign clubs, and Calciomercato claims that Inter and Milan are the main contenders for him.
Lingard is also attracting interest from several other European clubs, but he is deemed to favour a move to the Italian top-flight.
The United graduate had a superb loan stint with West Ham during the back end of last season, bagging nine goals and five assists.
He was anticipated to rejoin them over the summer, but then United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer opted to keep hold of his services.
The decision has been a poor one as Lingard has hardly played this term. He will walk out when his contract expires on June 30.
