Chelsea are planning a fresh bid to sign highly-rated Inter Milan midfielder Cesare Casadei, according to Standard Sport.
The Blues have been keen on pursuing the 19-year-old this summer, and have already failed with a couple of approaches.
Their recent proposal of £10m was deemed insufficient, but they are prepared to come again with a fresh £12m offer.
Inter consider Casadei as one of their best upcoming graduates, and are reluctant to lose him during the summer.
However, they are not averse to the idea of selling him, considering they need around £50m to stay within the FFP limits.
For now, Inter have shown no indication of accepting the Blues' proposal, but their resolve could change in the coming days.
Chelsea may need to make a much higher bid to sign Casadei, who bagged 16 goals and five assists for the Inter U19s last term.
The Blues are also interested in signing Denzel Dumfries from the Nerazzurri. He could be available for £42m.
