Bolton defender Gary Cahill saluted his teammates after they looked to be a step closer to saving Premiership survival, saying that it was all down ´to bottle and character´.
The defender admitted: "When the pressure really piled on and we were in the bottom three, things looked very bleak.
"There was no margin for error. Some people don't realise the pressure people are under.
"When that happens you need big players and everyone came to the fore.
"To turn it around and get three wins and a draw is credit to the lads.
"It was down to pure bottle and pure character."
