Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly keen on landing Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella in the summer.
The Reds have had a dismal Premier League campaign thus far and they are currently lying eighth in the league standings.
Klopp recently admitted that there will be signings made in the summer and it appears he is now keen on landing Barella.
According to Calciomercato, the German is a huge admirer of the former Cagliari man, who can play in multiple roles.
Barella has generally operated as the number eight for the Nerazzurri, and he has 13 goal contributions in the current season.
Liverpool are prioritising a deal for Dortmund's Jude Bellingham but a deal is difficult if they miss out on the Champions League.
Hence, they may have to look at alternative options and Barella could be prised away from Inter for around €80 million.
Chelsea have also been linked with the 26-year-old in the past but they are unlikely to make an approach this summer.
