Chelsea are reportedly prepared to keep Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix on loan for another campaign.
The Portuguese sensation joined the Blues on loan in January and he has already made 16 appearances for them.
He has managed just two goals thus far but the Blues believe he could become a key player for them in the long term.
According to The Mail, Chelsea will seek to extend Felix's loan stay for another season with the assurance of game time.
Atletico will make a decision in the summer but they could accept the proposal if the Blues include an option for a purchase.
The Blues have no interest in paying €80m to sign Felix this summer but could do so in future if he manages to make a big impact.
It remains to be seen whether Chelsea are able to re-sign him. They could face plenty of competition for his services this summer.
Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern and Manchester United are long-term admirers and they could enter the race to land Felix as well.
