Chelsea have opened the door for the departure of Trevoh Chalobah this summer, according to Evening Standard.
The Blues have already parted ways with Kalidou Koulibaly this summer, but they are prepared to consider bids for Chalobah.
The centre-back is currently behind Thiago Silva, Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile in the pecking order for a starting role.
With Levi Colwill also in the squad, there is a possibility that Chalobah could be the fifth-choice central defender next season.
Hence, the Blues have opened the door for his exit. They are willing to accept a fee of around £26m for the 24-year-old star.
As things stand, Chalobah is attracting interest from Serie A. Inter Milan and Roma are weighing up bids for the centre-back.
AC Milan are also in contention for the Englishman, but it is unclear whether they have the funds after the spending spree.
The club have already signed Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek from the Blues, and they are now prioritising a striker.
