Roma manager Jose Mourinho has his sights on signing Chelsea duo Trevoh Chalobah and Malang Sarr during the January transfer window.
Chalobah has been out with a knee injury from pre-season and he is still far away from a comeback after suffering a recurrence last month.
Despite this, there is a lot of speculation over his future and Calciomercato claim that Mourinho wants to bring Chalobah to the Giallorossi.
The Portuguese is currently playing three at the back at the Rome outfit and he is looking to sign players, who are comfortable in the formation.
Chalobah had huge success in the role in the past and he has been identified as a top target for the manager. Sarr is another names on his shortlist.
The Frenchman has been completely sidelined by the Blues and Mauricio Pochettino was unaware of his name during a press conference.
The former Nice man is expected to leave in the New Year. Roma seem front-runners to sign him. It could be for a nominal transfer fee.
