Chelsea forward Armando Broja could be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge this month on loan, as West Ham seek to add attacking reinforcements to their squad. The January transfer window tends to throw up a few surprises, and despite Broja's recent appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea, the Hammers could swoop to sign the talented forward.
Injuries to Michail Antonio, Lucas Paqueta and Jarrod Bowen have meant that David Moyes must move quickly to bring in a replacement, particularly as Antonio looks to have a long-term injury. Mohammed Kudus is also playing at the AFCON 2024 tournament for Ghana and will likely be missing for a couple more weeks.
Broja has appeared 13 times in the Premier League so far this season and has only scored one goal for Chelsea. Nicolas Jackson has been more prolific in front of goal, but he has departed for the AFCON tournament too, and Christopher Nkunku is sidelined through injury, so a departure for the Albanian Broja could be a bit of a surprise.
It is understood that Broja will be allowed to leave for a fee of around £1.5 million.
