Cafu leaves AC Milan

17 May 2008 - 09:31

Brazilian legend Cafu is set to quit AC Milan in the summer after a long period at the club. The defender is believed to be considering retirement, but there are rumours of a return for one last season in his homeland.

  • Man Utd star to sign new contract in next 24 hours
  • Napoli & Atletico want to sign Man Utd star for £24m
  • "I don't know if I'll play on in Brazil," he said. "All I know is that my last game for Milan is on Sunday and I don't know whether I'll get to play or not.

"I am ready to take on such an important task. Carlo Ancelotti will be able to count on me on all fronts.

"It's not easy to say goodbye to the fans who have welcomed me in a fantastic manner, I hope I haven't let anyone down. I will continue, however, to support Milan."
