Chelsea may move for Seedorf

Chelsea are reportedly ready to make a £15 million offer for Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf this summer. The Milan player is considering a move to another league for the remainder of his career, and may be allowed to leave for the right price.

  • Man Utd star preparing farewell video ahead of transfer
  • Avram Grant has been given a hefty budget to spend on players this summer, and Seedorf would be a snip at £15 million despite his agent.

There have been rumours that Chelsea may allow Frank Lampard to leave if the right offer comes in, and with Milan signing Mathieu Flamini from Arsenal this summer, reports of a midfield clear out at Milan have emerged.

Gennaro Gattuso has also been linked with a Milan exit with Bayern Munich interested in the player.

A move to the Premiership would be Clarence Seedorf's first spell in English football, a league he has always hinted he would like to eventually play in.
