Arsenal could make a shock approach to sign Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix this summer, according to Matteo Moretto.
The Gunners have had a slow start to the summer transfer window, but they are likely to make multiple signings in the coming weeks.
The club are open to signing a new wide player for manager Mikel Arteta and Moretto claims that Felix is one of those on their radar.
Felix spent the previous campaign on loan with Barcelona. He was a fringe player but still impressed with 16 goal contributions.
Prior to that, he had an unsuccessful six-month loan stint at Chelsea. He managed only four goals from 20 appearances for them.
Hence, he has yet to prove himself in the Premier League, but it has been surprisingly claimed that Felix is on the Gunners radar.
The Portuguese is only 24 years of age but has not fulfilled his early potential. It seems unlikely that Arsenal will pursue his services.
