Chelsea have confirmed new shirt numbers for summer signings Pedro Neto and Joao Felix.
Neto joined the Blues from Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier this month and he made his debut against Manchester City. The Portuguese wore the number 19 shirt against the Cityzens.
However, he has now been handed the no.7 jersey which was most recently with Raheem Sterling. Sterling is expected to leave the Blues on a permanent basis before the deadline.
Meanwhile, Felix will wear the number 14 shirt in his second homecoming. Trevoh Chalobah previously had the jersey, but he is likewise expected to head for the exit door soon.
The Blues are preparing for a huge selling spree and they plan to recoup more than £100 million. The sum could be utilised for the purchase of a new marquee centre-forward.
Napoli's Victor Osimhen is the priority target for the Blues, but the Nigerian star has no plans to accept a pay-cut. This could be a huge stumbling block towards a potential transfer.
