Arsenal could explore the signing of Alexander Isak or Victor Osimhen this year, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Gunners were widely tipped to land a striker last summer, but they ended up without reinforcing the department.
The decision has proved costly for them, considering Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz has been very inconsistent.
The duo have had patches of good scoring form, but they have been unable to sustain the same over long periods.
Di Marzio has now revealed that Newcastle United's Isak and Napoli's Osimhen are among striker targets for Arsenal.
However, the club are unlikely to pursue either player this winter and could make an approach at the end of the campaign.
The Magpies are flying high in every competition and the club are unlikely to entertain the departure of Isak this winter.
Osimhen is presently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli. He is prepared to stay put at the Turkish club until the summer.
