Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan as a replacement for Andre Onana this summer.
The Red Devils have had a disastrous league campaign and they have picked up just 33 points after 27 games into the season.
The club have struggled up front with the lack of regular goals, but they have likewise had concerns in the defensive department.
Onana has also been unconvincing between the sticks. He has been guilty of making several unforced errors leading to goals.
Milan Live now claim that the Red Devils could offload Onana at the end of the season. They could replace him with Maignan.
Maignan was on the Red Devils' radar two years ago, but the club ended up recruiting Onana from Inter Milan for big money.
Maignan's current deal expires at the end of next season and the Rossoneri are more likely to sanction his summer departure.
United may have to pay around £30 million for his services.
