Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim could drop goalkeeper Andre Onana during Sunday's Premier League clash against Newcastle United at St James' Park.
The Red Devils are winless following the international break but the story could have been much different.
United played out a 2-2 draw against Lyon in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final yesterday.
Onana was the major reason behind the stalemate. The Cameroonian made two high-profile errors leading to goals.
Daily Mail now report that Amorim is contemplating the option of dropping Onana to the substitutes' bench on Sunday.
United are currently 13th in the Premier League table and need to finish as high as possible to secure more TV revenue.
Amorim could hand Altay Bayindir his league debut for the Red Devils.
Bayindir was brilliant in goal during the FA Cup third round win at Arsenal. He registered six saves including a penalty.
The Turkey international picked up a foot injury soon after, but he could return in goal for United this weekend.
