Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey will be suspended for the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain at the Emirates Stadium.
The Ghana international has been a key player for the Gunners and he was brilliant during the double-legged quarter-final against Real Madrid.
Partey was superb with his control from the number six role. He was undoubtedly the second-best player against Los Blancos after Declan Rice.
However, he won't be available to face PSG at the Emirates after picking up his third yellow card of the European campaign versus Madrid.
He has reached the threshold for a one-game ban. Arsenal will need to find another solution in the number six role against Les Parisiens this month.
Declan Rice could be asked to play in the defensive midfield role. Mikel Merino could drop into the number eight position for the Gunners.
This may probably mean Leandro Trossard starting as the makeshift striker for the Gunners. Arsenal have tried a similar combination in the past.
