Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that two key players are ruled out of the Champions League clash against Sporting CP on the road tomorrow.
The Gunners take on Sporting in the first leg of the quarter-final on Tuesday and ahead of the game, they have received some positive news on the injury front.
Gabriel Magalhaes suffered an injury scare in the 2-1 loss to Southampton in the FA Cup quarter-final, but he has been deemed fit to travel with the squad.
Alongside him, Leandro Trossard and Declan Rice have made the trip to Lisbon too and the trio are poised to start against the Portuguese champions.
However, the club will be without the services of Jurrien Timber and Bukayo Saka, who have not made the trip. They are nursing minor fitness concerns.
Speaking in today's presser, Arsenal said that tomorrow's game was early for the duo, but they could be fit to face Bournemouth in the Premier League this weekend.
