Arsenal legend Paul Merson has heaped praise on Myles Lewis-Skelly following his impressive midfield performance for the Gunners against Fulham in the Premier League.
The Gunners moved six points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table following a 3-0 victory over Fulham at the Emirates Stadium.
Viktor Gyokeres was the man of the match for scoring a brace alongside an assist. Bukayo Saka was also brilliant on the day with a goal and an assist.
Lewis-Skelly was also fantastic in the centre of the park, having got the opportunity to start there ahead of Martin Zubimendi, who was rested.
He took the opportunity with both hands. He had a passing accuracy of 97 percent and won the most number of duels for the Gunners as well.
Speaking after the game, Merson hailed his performance saying:
"Myles Lews-Skelly was the prime example of that today. He got tight, went for a couple of balls and Fulham couldn't get out of their half."
