Roma midfielder Manu Kone has his sights on joining Arsenal this summer, according to Italian sources.
The Frenchman had a fantastic season with Roma in Serie A, and he played a big part in them qualifying for the Champions League next term.
He is, however, expected to move on in the coming weeks, given that Roma need to balance their financial books to avoid another UEFA fine.
Atletico have already made an offer worth 45 million euros for the Frenchman, but he is said to be holding out for the Gunners.
Kone is currently at the World Cup with Les Bleus and does not plan to discuss his future until after his return from the tournament.
Still, he has a clear stance on joining the Premier League champions and it remains to be seen whether Arsenal make an offer for him.
The club have other priorities at the moment, and could prefer a more creative midfielder to add to the squad in the current window.
