Real Madrid defender Marc Cucurella has spoken about the possibility of reuniting with Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez at the Bernabeu this summer.
Cucurella signed for Los Blancos from Chelsea earlier this month, and he is now eager to link up with Fernandez, who has also been linked with a move to the Spanish giants.
Speaking to Radio Marca, he said: "I hope Enzo Fernández joins Real Madrid too. I’d be so happy. The opportunity for us to both join Real Madrid in the same summer would be amazing."
Madrid have explored the possibility of landing the World Cup winner, but they are unlikely to pay over the odds.
Chelsea want around £120 million for the former Benfica man, but Madrid may not pay more than £100 million.
The Blues are reluctant to lower the fee, but that could change if Fernandez were to submit a transfer request soon.
Fernandez is currently with Argentina at the World Cup, and does not plan to discuss his future until the tournament ends.
