Pirlo hints at Milan exit

Pirlo hints at Milan exit

11 June 2008 - 06:48

AC Milan star Andrea Pirlo, who only just days ago had pledged his future to the Rossoneri, has now unleashed a fresh wave of doubt on his future at the club.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • Pirlo is currently with the Italian national side at the Euro 2008 finals in Austria and Switzerland. The recently concluded 2007-2008 season was one of Milan's worst in recent years as they finished outside the top four in the Italian Serie A and shall play UEFA Cup football next season.

There are many within the game who suggest taht some of the old guards of Milan, Pirlo including, have lost their appetite for success and so need to be kicked out. Milan are set to undergo a massive revamp in the summer although no one genuinely thinks that Andrea Pirlo would be chucked out.

Pirlo though seems to foster some other idaes and hints as such:

"It would be nice to try another experience, certain proposals are flattering, but I'm fine at Milan.I've already won everything there is to win with this shirt.

“Next season our objective will be the scudetto, and since I've only won one, winning another would mean a lot to me. I'm fine at Milan.”
