Jenas eyes Spurs improvement

Jenas eyes Spurs improvement

13 June 2008 - 17:12

Jermaine Jenas believes that last season was his best season for Tottenham, and that there will be more to come from him next year. The Spurs midfielder also believes next season will bring more silverware for the Juande Ramos' side.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • "I thoroughly enjoyed the season," Jenas told Spurs’ official website. "And it was my best here so far, definitely.

"There were a lot of positives in terms of our first cup win but we didn't finish where we wanted to in the league.

"It's important to change that. We need to find consistency, especially looking at when we went ahead in a number of games towards the end of the season but ended up drawing, we need to have that killer instinct about us and if we can change that, then we'll be fine.

"On a personal note, yes, I think I had a good season and I want more of the same, to keep playing well for Tottenham. I want to improve and become an even better player here."
