Ashley Cole injury issue

Chelsea have revealed that Ashley Cole is likely to be out of action for at least 10 days after suffering a calf muscle injury in the 5-0 mauling of Sunderland at the weekend.

It is understood that Ashley Cole was not on the flight to Roma for their Champions League clash.



However, Cole is expected to return quite quickly and could be back in action between 8 to 10 days.



Chelsea have yet to confirm the extent of the injury issue.
