Boro chase Slovakian pair

Middlesbrough are in the market for a Slovakian duo that are currently playing for MFK Kosice. Juraj Hovancik and Nemanja Matic are the two players in question, and Gareth Southgate has agreed to allow both to visit on trial.

"Earlier this year we agreed between clubs to exchange young talented players for one or two weeks, within our winter break or at Middlesbrough's end of season," said a Kosice representative.



"This would benefit players as they would train in different countries, and we believe it would make young players become even stronger in all aspects."
