11 February 2009 - 04:25

Joe Kinnear's doctors told him that he would need an emergency heart bypass operation. The latest reports suggest that his future at Newcastle is in doubt.

  • Newcastle United boss, Joe Kinnear, has been adviced to have an emergency surgery this week, the news came after the angiogram tests. Although the Toons are fighting relegation, it is highly unlikely that he can take care of the team. The doctors had adviced him to take complete rest after the surgery.

Kinnear was ill right before Newcastle's win at West Brom, and losing him would be tough for Newcastle United.

Kinnear had a heart attack ten years ago, while he was Wimbledon manager, spent six months out of the game.
