Manchester United are still considering a move for young French starlet Raphael Varane, despite the interest of Real Madrid for the talented centre back.

  • Chelsea plan shock swoop for Sporting CP star
  • Chelsea have clear stance on signing Victor Osimhen
  • The Lens and France under-21 international is valued by his club at around 8.25m GBP the French club; who have thrown the 18 year old in the first team despite his inexperience.

It is believed that United boss Sir Alex Ferguson sees Varane as a long term backup for aging duo Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand; and has already brought in Phil Jones as a long term replacement for Ferdinand.
