Tottenham's Parker deal hangs in balance

Tottenham's move for West Ham midfielder Scott Parker remains under threat after Spurs changed the terms of their agreement for the transfer.

Jake Livermore had been mentioned as the player West Ham would take on loan from Tottenham for the year, however it is understood a last minute change of heart from Harry Redknapp means that Livermore is wanted at White Hart Lane this year.

Tottenham are now hoping to push through a deal for Parker and involve someone else in the deal instead.
