Joe Cole completes move to Lille

Joe Cole has finally completed his move to Lille from Liverpool. The England midfielder has joined the French club on loan.

The 29 year old had been expected to join a club in the Premier League; but instead has opted for a move to the French Ligue 1.

The arrivals of Stewart Downing, Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson spelled the end for Cole, who will replace Gervinho who joined Arsenal earlier in the summer.
