Hazard is still Arsenal's main target

Eden Hazard is still believed to be Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger's primary target today. The Lille midfielder has reportedly told club representatives that he wants to join the Gunners.

Hazard is the subject of a financial battle between Lille and Arsenal; the Gunners are only willing at this stage to pay 20m GBP for the Belgium international, whilst Lille value their star player at around 30m GBP.

Lille today completed the loan signing of Joe Cole, and some reports suggest that his signing from Liverpool is due to Hazard's imminent departure.

Arsenal are to haggle over the fee until the very end of the transfer window, according to reports.
