Aston Villa make late offer for Jenas

Aston Villa are considering a last minute offer for Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas. The player has been told he can leave White Hart Lane.

Harry Redknapp reportedly told Jenas at the end of last season that he would be willing to listen to offers for Jenas should any are arrive.

Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish is planning to sign at least one midfielder before the transfer window closes, and Jenas is one of those on his list.
