Kolo Toure thanks Arsene Wenger
Man City defender Kolo Toure took a few moments to thank former boss Arsene Wenger for helping him develop his career. The Arsenal boss finds himself under increasing pressure, but Toure says that he only has praise for the Frenchman.
Kolo Toure recently returned from his drug ban that saw him miss six months of action.
Toure returned against Birmingham City in the Carling Cup on Wednesday night.
"I want to thank two people who have been really important to me - David Dein and Mr Wenger," he said.
"They have been supporting me and never let me down. I want to thank them very, very much.
"He is somebody that makes players better. I came from nowhere. I was in Africa and nobody believed in me.
"I had been at a lot of clubs that didn't take me. This guy made me what I am now."
