Joorabchian backs 3rd party player ownership
Football agent Kia Joorabchian has defended football player third party ownership, insisting that it is good for clubs who wish to compete in the transfer market.
Kia is famously known for his vested interest in Man City star Carlos Tevez, and the Argentine's 3rd party ownership saw West Ham hit with huge fines three years ago after surviving Premier League relegation.
The Iranian is quick to defend such player ownership: "If the banks are not willing to lend them money there needs to be another vehicle to lend them money to allow them to compete.
"Otherwise it will always be the top four or you need to find billionaire. The smaller clubs will never get a chance to succeed."
