Man City face competition for Hamsik signature
Manchester City could face some competition in the race to sign Marek Hamsik, as Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has reportedly told Roman Abramovich that Hamsik is his number one target for the January transfer window.
Fausto Salsano, the Man City first team coach, admitted that Marek Hamsik is on Man City's shortlist alongside Ezequiel Lavezzi:âHamsik has become an important player, while Lavezzi is devastating and can hurt people in one-on-one situation."
Napoli currently sit ahead of Man City in their Champions League group, with City hoping to turn around their results in their remaining games.
Hamsik is valued at approximately 25m GBP.
