Chelsea looking at Serbian youngster

Despite being followed by Fiorentina, Partizan Belgrade forward Lazar Markovic is keen for a move to Stamford Bridge.

Markovic has already had over a dozen appearances this season and at only 17, he has the best years of his development before him.

He was quoted saying that he would prefer Chelsea over any other club.

"Chelsea is the club I love the most, of course after Partizan," said Markovic. "I'd like to play there.

"I believe that the best football is in England; that is a type of league that suits me."

Markovic is currently tied down in a contract that lasts till 2016.
