Mancini sets Man City challenge
Roberto Mancini admits he is surprised his Manchester City side have enjoyed success so early on in the season; but called on his expensive side to continue their impressive form until the end of the season.
Roberto Mancini wants his team to follow up last week's 6-1 win over city rivals Man Utd with another a victory this weekend.
You can be happy after the game but the day after that you should think about the next game. It doesn't change because we beat United, it is in the past. This is one way we can improve. If we continue to win it is important for the confidence," said Mancini.
Last year Man City won the FA Cup ending a long spell without a trophy, and now Mancini hopes to turn his attentions to winning the jewel in the crown, the Premier League title.
"After the FA Cup I thought this year we could do another step, fight with (Manchester) United and Chelsea for the top of the league", said the Italian boss.
"But at the moment I think we started very well."
Man City take on Wolves in the Premier League this weekend.
