In demand striker Nikica Jelavic looks set to complete a move to the Premier League this month, as Premier League strugglers Queens Park Rangers and Kenny Dalglish's Liverpool look set to do battle for his coveted signature.

Rangers manager Ally McCoist today confirmed that some interest has been shown in the striker from Liverpool, saying: "They've not made an official bid. The reported amount would not be enough to meet the demands of the owner - £6 million is not nearly enough."

Meanwhile, Queens Park Rangers' new manager Mark Hughes has a £25 million transfer kitty to play with, and the purchasing of a new striker is at the top of his list of priorities.

The Croatian striker is desperate to make a move to England - and reportedly prefers London - and there appears to be a good chance that he may finally complete his dream of playing in the Premier League if an offer of £7.5 million is received.
