Fulham open Pogrebnyak move talks

Fulham have opened talks for Russian striker Pavel Pogrebnyak. The 28-year-old is available on a season long loan from VfB Stuttgart, and a number of Premier League clubs are interested in the player.
The 6 foot 2 striker has failed to impress this year at VfB, so far only managing to score one goal this season. Everton were linked with a move for Pogrebnyak, but today have moved a step closer to signing Rangers' forward Nikica Jelavic.
Pogrebnyak will also be available for a permanent transfer at the end of the season.
Martin Jol is planning to sign a striker in this transfer window as he faces the departures of Andrew Johnson and Bobby Zamora over the next six months.
